On rememberence sunday both sides showed respect for the heroes of WW1 with a minute silence before the game, the skys opened and the game started during a monsoon like spell of rain but this didnt stop the action on the field where Cwmgwrach struck first with a supberb drive over try from Oliver Davies, the away sides continued effort did break through finally but cwms defence held strong time after time with great tackling showed by Tomas Davies and Caleb Cole, the rain continued to pour andboth sides showed great determination with further tries from the home sides captain Cian John and 2 tries for Callum Griffiths going into half time 1 try infront 5-4.
The second half started brightly but Cwmgwrach turned on the style both defending and attacking well with try saving tackles made by Anton Curry and Brandon Jones turning the ball over time after time, which led to some excellent tries being scored firstly a great break through solo try for Joshua Castaldi however Cwmavon didnt seem to be able to find the answers resulting in another 2 tries for Matthew Whiles and 4 tries for the on fire Cosmo Collins the game finishing 11-5 and the home side getting a well deserved win.
